The development of technologies such as the Internet has launched the globalisation of the economy to new heights. The growth of international trade has been such that now small and large companies can reach customers, suppliers and employees anywhere in the world. As you have spent a fortune growing your company and developing different products and services, translating your business information, whether it be manuals, websites or whatever, will cost only a small fraction of the money you have spent in your company and will increase the size of your potential market. It will definitely be a marginal investment with a tremendous return.

There are several websites that offer automatic translation for free; the result of this program is broken sentences that usually miss the whole point of what you are trying to convey. Sometimes they can be used to obtain a very rough idea of what the text is about, but never for specialised text because the information will not be accurate and can even result in a liability to your company. There is nothing better than the human translator, backed up by a suitably qualified team and good quality procedures.

Successful global e-business isn’t just about communication with customers in their own language. It is about adapting your material and software to take into account local cultural, regulatory and industry specific factors, as well as the local use of the language.
Localisation is the linguistic adaptation of a product or service to suite local usage and culture, to ensure that you never end up confusing or alienating your international audience.
Localisation of your software takes into account how different cultures will use your finished product, ensuring that it fits in with local conventions and regulations. Likewise, your website can be accessed by anyone in the world; so imagine how much more successful your e-business strategy would be if you could speak to global customers in their own language.

Yes we do. We can ensure that urgent documents get turned around in 24 hours if required. This covers most types of documents up to about 1500 words in length. There is an urgency charge for this, as we have to cover overnight working.

When you are launching a product or service simultaneously in several different countries, your success can depend on the handling of your Multilanguage documentation. We have years of experience in this field with the expertise to ensure your project runs smoothly from conception to launch.
All project management is done through one point of contact. Your account manager will discuss fully with you formats, preferred terminology and output methods.
They will help you schedule your launch to confirm
with overseas deadlines and liaise with overseas offices
and agents, if required. In short, our staff will handle
everything, with regular discussions and meetings,
plus progress reports and formal quality assurance
methods.

We can handle most major PC & Mac based software. For ease, MS Word files
tend to be the most flexible and can be easily attached to an e-mail.
If the text cannot be transmitted electronically, please either fax on 01865 202701 or mail us. Click

Our translators can translate about 2000 words per day, and when we quote, the turnaround time will be based on this. However, if you have a specific deadline, then you need to let us know so that we can do our best to meet it.

We cover all recognised world languages. Here as some examples:
Asian and Oriental – Arabic, Chinese, Gujerati, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Punjabi, Taiwanese, Thai.
East European – Bulgarian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Ukrainian.
North European -Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish.
West European - Dutch, Flemish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish.

We specialise in Technical, Scientific, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Commercial and Legal translations.
We use highly qualified translators in order to guarantee the highest
level of quality in our translation. Our translators are qualified linguists,
who have a minimum of 10 years' translation experience within a variety
of technical, scientific, medical, commercial, and legal fields, and
they are also qualified within their specialist areas. Click

Yes, we proofread all translations for layout and formatting in-company
before sending them out to you. This ensures that nothing has missed
out. However, you need to specify which level
of service you require. Everything will be charged on the Standard
level of service unless you tell us that you would like the Premium
level of service with full language verification.

Yes, we can handle almost any package available. We are part of a large
typesetting and printing group of companies and have all the facilities
on site. We handle PC or Mac based packages. If you would like us to
prepare a more concrete estimate for you, the best thing to do is to
fax or e-mail the documents through and
we will send you the estimate as
soon as possible.

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup language. HTML is a collection of formatting commands that create hypertext documents – or ‘web pages’ to be exact. For more information on HTML please click
here.

Yes, all we need from you is to have the resource files saved individually on a CD. The reason for this is so that we can visually see which pages are to be translated and which are not.

It is very hard to give you the exact cost because we price translations according to a number of factors:
You will need to supply us with the languages that you want us to translate
and you will need to let us know whether you would want us to translate
into English or from English. Also, you would need to be aware about
language expansion. For more information, please read information on language
expansion.
The complexity of the material; a business letter is less expensive than
a highly technical document or legal contracts for example.
File format - plain text or MS Word for PC is the most cost-effective
option than Quark Xpress, Frame Maker, and Page Maker for MAC or PC.
DTP packages are also handled, but these will be charged as an extra
cost. If the material contains complicated graphic design you will need
to send us the original graphic files so that we are able to change any
text embedded in the graphics. Therefore, any time spent working on graphic
elements increases the cost.
Please be aware that this is just a brief explanation of some of the enquires that we have received in the past. We are sorry that we unable to give prices here.
