From whichever direction you approach Oxford, due to
considerable traffic congestion experienced daily in
the city centre, we suggest that you follow the ring-road.
Then enter Oxford from the West on the A420. Access
from Oxford railway station is relatively simple, but
unless alternative arrangements have been made, a short
taxi ride is recommended.
When walking from the railway station, turn right at
the main road and proceed under the rail bridge. Cross
Osney Bridge and then the footbridge on the left across
the stream. Turn left again and walk alongside the river
to the end of East Street, continue along the towpath
through Osney Lock. At the junction in the path turn
right, then left at the end of the footpath. Alden is
the second building on the left.

Approximately 40 minutes drive away.
